Apart from moving your house closer to the telephone exchange, there is not anything you can do. With your attenuation, you are doing very well actually.

If there is definitely an exchange much closer to you it might be worth asking BT if they can swap you to it. There is not a lot of hope, but you will not know until you ask.

As I've said in earlier posted, the exchange I thought I was on is a street away lol. So it's BT not Sky that would do that?

If your rental is with Sky you would have to approach them first, if not it is BT. Make sure the exchange is enabled for Sky and have spaces, or you will be condemned to the Connect package.

According to samknows I'm connected to the Cregagh exchange, which is 161M away but the line length will be longer.

If that is the case you have very very bad fault somewhere. There is no way your line could be taking a 4K+ route to your house. You should have a speed of 20Mb+.
