Hiya, I wonder if you can tell me if I can use my D-link router with sky, and will they be able to help me set it up?

Re: my router
Officially No. Sky supply a router and the T & Cs dictate that you use it, some do use their own routers but Sky will give you no support in this respect. Ways to do this are available on the forum, but if you have not yet joined, you will be unable to get the details you need out of the router they supply. Sky are now supplying D-Link routers.

Re: my router
You can use your own router on sky provided you extract the user name and password from your current router. You cannot get sky to help you set it up as it is against the T&C's and if you mention it to them you are liable to be disconnected.
If you have the new D-link router DSL-2640S supplied from sky then at present you cannot get the username and password for it.
