Can I keep my Sky email address when migrating to another provider?
I am moving to o2 from Sky due to their Unlimited deal being cheaper than Sky's.
However, I am still keeping Sky TV, and was wondering whether we can keep the two Sky.com email addresses we currently have?
It states on their website that Sky email is free for all Sky customers - do they mean specifically broadband customers, or all TV customers.
Thanks in advance

Re: Can I keep my Sky email address when migrating to another provider?
Thanks for your reply.... I did see in their terms that you're allowed to keep the email for one month after leaving... on the other hand there is something on their website about 'Sky Email for life' - so it's quite contradictory!

Re: Can I keep my Sky email address when migrating to another provider?
The people on the phone nad the T&Cs are not up to speed re this.
Since Sky changed their email provider to googlemail, it became free for life.
Beforehand, sky hosted the email themselves and so you lost access if you ceased being a broadband customer as you had to be on their servers.
the SkoogleMail uses Google's servers which can be access via any ISP and so it is free for life.

Re: Can I keep my Sky email address when migrating to another provider?
Hmm, that's interesting - Sky really need to update their terms then!
Guess there's still a chance that they could make the effort to cancel previous customers' email accounts though, but hopefully not.
