Re: (Unofficial) FAQ - Sky Connect Users
Sometimes my speed drops dramatically, at the mo im on a go slow, Ill post agin with my average speed when it comes back. But this is what it is right now:-
Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test: -provides background information.
Your DSL connection rate: 8128 kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP profile for your line is - 7150 kbps
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 947 kbps
When its normal i can download at about 6300 kbps
I have phoned sky before about this and they say they arent capping me, what do you guys think of it?

Re: (Unofficial) FAQ - Sky Connect Users
Sky aren't 'capping' as such...it's the lack of capacity combined with poor management of traffic - calling Sky will get you nowhere as tech can't do anything about it, although is known about and under investigation...

Re: (Unofficial) FAQ - Sky Connect Users
Is anyone good a writing letters? I have requested my MAC code from sky, and have set up an o2 account who are just waiting for it.
However i'm still in my 12month contract with sky, and dont know how to write a good letter asking them to waive the termination fee due to the exsessive throttling in the evenings, does any1 have a template one i could use?
thanks
