Just rang Sky
To ask about my activation date as still not heard anything, chap on the phone reckons i'm due to be activated on the 27th !!!! Bt checker still has nothing on it and still not got the router. Anyone else been in the same position? is it wishful thinking that it may actually go through?

My router was installed on 19/09/06, my line was due to go live on 20/09/06 and it actually went live on 21/09/06 at about 11am.
I called on the morning of 21/09/06 and was told that BT Wholesale had a huge backlog and to expect a delay of up to 72 hours, so all in all I counted myself lucky.

Well that does sound promising but I can guess that a lot of the members would say thats wishful thinking

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

That is what is worrying me, that the BT checker still has nothing on it.
