Re: Sky Connect Broadband - Are you being slowed down?
Once you are there you are there and can move to whatever package you wish (except connect obviously). As to timescaling it depends on BT I would think as you may have to be moved onto Sky equipment at the exchange itself so I don't know where the minutes quote came from, unless someone else knows otherwise I would think hours would be the best you could hope for.

Re: Sky Connect Broadband - Are you being slowed down?
HA was speaking to a BT engineer doing work for us, said to him check my exchange for me

BT is reporting that some of the virtual paths at this exchange are not operating within BT Wholesale's planning guidance, although they are still operating within the product specification.

I shall have to chat with BT!

Re: Sky Connect Broadband - Are you being slowed down?
Chap,
I always find this an interesting read.
Although as I found today exchanges showing red doesn't mean Sky won't upgrade capacity to enable the transition to LLU. Unless of course there is no LLU.....
Hope you get it sorted.

I would get Base £0 Mid £5. Max £10. oh forgot no LLU
The point is, you feel let down but continue to pay for the service.Saying that for £5 you wont do any better for £5 you should be haoppy you get anything
The problem stems from being told LLU in the exchange within six months. ok that is about me. But the idea of this thread is to help connect Customers who are having problems and to assist them. A lot of LLU Customers were on connect at sometime and understand the problems that occur with connect. Their input and experience are a huge benefit as a connect Customer I thank them

Re: Sky Connect Broadband - Are you being slowed down?
You're not saying that, I am, for £5 you won't do any better, at that price I understand why you don't move.
What will you do if it goes up to the normal £17?

Re: Sky Connect Broadband - Are you being slowed down?
Ok, this is getting really weird. So a couple of posts back you'll see I checked Skys availability checker and to my amazement discovered mid max and base were available. I was placed on connect due to no space at the exchange.
So I checked skys order tracker and sure enough my order for mid is progressing and will be completed on 23/3. Now here it gets weird. I just use the availability checker one more time for interests sake and boom. The only package available is Connect?! Surely there wasn't only one 'slot' available and I took it? I've now got a nervy wait coming up. In the meantime, what does anything think? Can anyone more in the know reassure me?
