on last test at 1834 today no actual throughpu
i think i am definately being throttled
usage only surf from midday to 0100
download only midnight to midday

used to get 3.5 to 4 meg till last october since its gone steadily down hill
today i did a speed test on bt speed tester my actual throughput was 0

hello chaps,
well, after much sky baiting, offers of reduced subs and compensation from sky (it does help if you're a shareholder, nothing like a bit of additional leverage) we have a small success.
after Sky sent a BT engineer out, turns out the original BT engineer that re-activated the line back in Jan had done a job equivalent to that of a small blind child. And what do you know, some trickery at the CAB, the BT pairs into the property and the faceplate itself, up pops my sync to 6meg, getting 5meg throput at the mo.
What a result. The throttling however, is still an issue. I agree with a few on here that is isnt as bad as it has been and unfortunately I've come to the conclusion you just have to accept it as one of those things.

Hi that is really annoying I thought I had it bad when I was getting 135k Profile and 86k Actual What was your IP Profile for test and has it been the same all the time thats the first time I have heard that 0 Actual that is really

Hi I think IAmNotTheEnemy has put up with slow speeds for a lot longer than most in fact I Know I would be elated getting steady and good speeds in fact
have not been on long and ran Bt test and were back to normal at 2325pm and thanks for the comment earlier on

Not tried speed test for a while, been working in the evening. The wife has not moaned so I imagine it's ok, I shall run some test over the next few days and report back.
