That's 23.4 KB/s, not that it makes much difference, it is still shocking

IAmNotTheEnemy, here you go! I have no idea what to do now. Completely exhausted every avenue, the-regrade on the line does not explain these speeds, my pings are 200+ all day every day.

If anyone has any guesses of anything else I can do I'd love to hear them, willing to try pretty much anything now.

your issue is different from the throttling - you got a line issue so you need to get back onto Sky to get BT to either do a lift and shift or something!!!

HA, sky closed my ticket even tho nothing was fixed and they refuse to call my mobile lol! so out of badness i have now downloaded 10 gig in a few days.. throttle me all u want.. o wait already am!

You could try copying and pasting your BT test onto a KANA form together with your complaint. This will take a bit longer than phoning but as you are able to show a performance test, it may get you somewhere.

Unfortunately with Sky you are unable to do the further tests as these involve changing the ADSL login details in the router to the BT server. This shows whether the problem is with the BT or ISP side of the connection.

Have a look at this article from Plusnet on ADSLMax, which is the same as Sky Connect. It may give you an idea what you are up against.-

Cheers IsItMe. Will do everything you suggest, I'm on hold now for Sky CST the following reasons....
1. Rip someones head off and make myself feel better
2. Get my costs reduced from £10 a month to as near to zero as nothing.

Will let you know how I get on.

Makes users feel better tho , for most of the tier 3 guys i have time for who generally do help, then you get countless drones reading from a script
