Re: Sky Connect Broadband - Are you being slowed down?
I have tested my speed several times today wirelessly and connected. Wirelessly my best speed this morning was 538 wired it was 5 .9. Tonight my speed is 368, pretty poor, no wonder I cant watch BBC i player on my Sony Blu Ray. This level of speed has been a problem for months not just the last few days.

Hi if Ringwood is your exchange that was Sky Enabled as of 29/08/2007. Do as Isitme has asked because your router statistics would show more information.

Re: Sky Connect Broadband - Are you being slowed down?
Hi all havent posted since I joined ages ago , because I had no problems.....unti now
Last few weeks after 5pm virtually nil bandwidth.
So rang sky tonight to be told its traffic management and there is nothing they can do about it.
Complained and told them Im not a heavy user but got nowhere.
My connection is 8meg and normally get 6.8meg
Evenings I normally get up to 5 meg.
But as you can see from my speedtest...........

Hi to do a test use Bt http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/sky-b...ed-tester.html Just post the results to your next post Bt test is the only test Sky will take any notice of. Have you had a look at http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/sky-b...ect-users.html there is more information on there about the connect package. Also http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/sky-b...test-blog.html that is what it was like over the last couple of years. I have seen Download speed achieved during the test was 1kbps.
