Re: Sky Connect Broadband - Are you being slowed down?
It looks like your Profile is 'stuck'. I think you will have to phone Sky and ask them to ask BT to restart your connection. Ask to be passed to the agents who deal with BT right away, it is a waste of time going through the check filter, are you switch on etc, your stats are fine, the problem is at the BT end.

Hi it looks like your Profile has been locked by Bt as the connect package is a Bt re-badged max product Sky can only tell Bt what they want Bt to do. Sometimes Bt do the opposite and blame it on RAMBo (Rate Adaptive Management Box) similar to Sky`s (DLM Dynamic Line Management) As we all know Computers do not make mistakes. We make the mistakes. they can breakdown and stop working. Anyway I would if the Profile has not gone after the 72hrs ring Sky and tell them you are on the connect package and tell the Sky agent that your Profile has been locked by BT and all you want is to get your Profile unlocked tell what the Bt tests show and they should put you through to CST and they will put you through to the CST who deal with the connect broadband. You can see on this link the same issues http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/sky-b...test-blog.html

Re: Sky Connect Broadband - Are you being slowed down?
I'll wait till the 72 hours are up then get on their case
One quick question.... (again, sorry!)
When i logged onto 192.168.0.1 to get my mac address to put into bt speedtester it now appears like this...
LAN Port
MAC Address ---
Should i reboot the router or wait until the speed picks up? Obviously i cant do another speed test until it appears

Hi I use a XTE-2005 faceplate from ADSL Nation. But have a look at the link Sky User - Which ADSL Faceplate Filter? I know the thread started on 13 May, 2009 but there are posts that are up to date at the bottom of the page.
Did you find the Mac Code.

Re: Sky Connect Broadband - Are you being slowed down?
They will only improve your speed if there is an improvement to be made because you have a wiring issue.
Nothing on Sky Connect can improve the package though, it is dire
