Great. Not much hope there then !
When I said "proper", my idea of a "proper" broadband package is one that's actually usable. Sorry if that was unclear (or inappropriate, in your own glowing, wonderful, Sky experience)

Copied from my post in another thread: If you want advice i will say ADSL24, i have been with them since april, not 1 problem, and they recently announced that they will be supplying a 50gig package for £19.99 (not confirmed yet) with no traffic managment etc.. 1 month contract also, so if you dont like them you can quit!

Re: Sky Connect Broadband - Are you being slowed down?
Well time for an update, new router arrived and what a difference! Speed improved by a margin of about 0%.
Phoned Sky and told them to ram the 12 month contract as they are not providing what I am paying for. Got a MAC code and signed up for TalkTalk who are a recently added LLU in my exchange. Feel I may be jumping from the fire to the frying pan however at least its cheaper! 30 days trial period as well so I will be testing every aspect. Time will tell as it goes live in about 2 weeks time.
Fingers crossed though, even a solid 2MB would allow me to get back to Call of Duty, streaming music from Napster to my Sonos, Iplayer, youtube etc. It would like being in 2009 again rather than the late 90s speed delivered by Sky Connect.
£17.99 a month for 0.25MB??? 40GB limit, dont make me laugh, its a personal challenge to download 4GB through their bottle neck choked network each month.
Sky Connect - yes they do, however very very slowly.
