I finally lost it tonight. with the result below.
I've never broken the agreement I signed not the lies sky have forced upon the people that pay their wages. 757K when at 3.55pm I was on 5.6mb,
I've asked for my mac codes, yet again sky dont seem to realise that the more custoemrs who leave, the less revenue they'll have. frankly a five year old could work this one out.
Murdoch you're an ass
and if they think i'm paying a disconnection charge....... take me to court.

Hi if Murdoch was still in charge but he is not anymore as Gazz380 say`s in his last post referring to heavy user`s. Sky are pushing the connect package I think the reason is so many are leaving
out of 1000 users maybe 10 gets the kick, and for those 10, 20 more join.
Hi the reason I am looking back to see how far the issue goes because the change in Shy`s Terms and Conditions seem to sneak in near the end of 2008 that way it give connect customers a chance meaning it has not just happened

Re: Sky Connect Broadband - Are you being slowed down?
I Totally agree with you, i have already jumped ship and for anyone whos thinking about it i myself have had good service from ADSL24 (£18 - 30gig Peak, Unlimited Off Peak). i would push everyone away from skys connect package as i dont think its Value for £17, and i cant see sky fixing it before the end of the 21CN rollout.
Coreservers, if you still happen to be in your 12 months ill point you to this thread http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/sky-b...ect-users.html It was started for people in your perdiciment, and i hope you find a decent ISP
Newnet, Zen, ADSL24, Aquiss or IDnet are all respectable replacments in a BT only area.

Re: Sky Connect Broadband - Are you being slowed down?
you say a lot of people - but from what I can gather it's less than 50 going by this forum...although I'm sure a lot have (and I don't blame them). I just think you think people are actually that bothered...
the main people we get kicking off are the gamers, understandably so, but the normal users just accept the traffic shaping and go about their business...even my line on fastpath does nothing in the evenings, but I've never had it as bad as some of the extreme cases posted here in the last few months...
would be nice if it is fixed, but as I have no need for a constantly fast connection it doesn't bother me...browsing/streaming has always worked as it should...I guess i'm just lucky...-------------------------------------------
