@ Smithy
Maybe you have missed the fact that yunorisson has jumped ship and is no longer with Sky. He only posts here to stir things up.

Hi Tom the thing is they are both saying the same thing and are both right. The thing is until Sky step up and not only apply some rules to connect. But enforce them it is not going to change.

Re: Sky Connect Broadband - Are you being slowed down?
Afraid you are 100% wrong! My intentions are certainly not to 'stir things up' with fellow posters but to simply highlight the weakness of the Connect package.
The fact that I have 'jumped ship' should have absolutely no bearing on my posts within this forum. I 'jumped ship' in order to receive an improved (vastly) service for myself. This option is open to anyone and should be considered seriously.
I did not post to 'stir things up' other than to bring the shortcomings of the Connect package to the visitors of this forum.

Re: Sky Connect Broadband - Are you being slowed down?
I know that Steve, my remark was a light hearted remark as Smithy was addressing the other poster as if he was still a member of Sky broadband. Who, if he takes the trouble to look through the posts will find that I was criticising Connect before he even joined Sky and have been advising users who cannot get a decent service to leave.

Hi Tom I know with or without the
Your contribution in assisting connect Customers is excellent you are impartial thats why Skyusers appreciate your remarks. I suppose what I could have said it is not only our dialect that is different it is the way we think when we put it on paper but thought that was long winded so that is why I said what I said. I was agreeing with you

SkyWoW
Hi as Gazz said look at that thread it will help you
Well back have not been on skyuser for the last few days and guess what at 19:56 01/05/09 that is 1.4mbs traffic managed sad really. If all connect Customers over 3mbs from 5pm till Midnight on alternate nights or every third night and was not breaking any T&C was managed between 256kbps and 512kbps there would be less throttling

Re: Sky Connect Broadband - Are you being slowed down?
Sorry i posted in the wrong thread can anyone look at these stats Im getting very slow speeds...
Hi,
Please can anyone help and give me some advice. Getting about 1meg and 0.5 meg speeds at the moment on our connect package. We used to get around 2/3 meg but its so slow these days cant watch you tube, streaming tv, pages take ages to load.
We connect wirelessly, we have filters in all sockets, its a new house so no test socket. We have lived here for 10 months and have been with Sky all that time. We have no fax machines, alarm systems. Only one phone connected which is not digital.
