Sky Connect Broadband - Are you being slowed down?

- I did get the impression (not confirmed) that the guy I was speaking to in cancellations was not surprised at the Connect performance, and there was never any of the usual tactics to try and change my mind.

I also got that impression, the guy even said at the next meeting of his department the issue would be raised cause theyre sick of the calls at the moment down to the issue, very nice guy tho! Am still waiting on my MAC tho...

Would be good if Sky did sort it out, However Im due to be put on my new provider sometime today (ADSL24). One month rolling contract I hope they are ok and don't throttle my connection. Should aso be on ADSL2+ crossed fingers.

If you are not LLU'd go with either NewNet or IDNet.

Unfortunately that is when most people use it, that is why it is called the 'peak' period.

Believe me, I understand what a peak period is, but christ, down to less than 512????

That must be some throttling or contention.

Hi I have seen on this thread a download as little as Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was -7kbps. now thats low other Sky connect Customer 85kbps 135kbps. all on this thread. thats why I asked if you had done Bt test Isitme is only pointing out that the problem is from 5pm to 12midnight peak period day time at the moment seem to be ok hope you get sorted

Hi 186 not many compared to 1108 I know someone will say that other connect Customers and members are leaving more than 1 post but thats the idea the more information the better especially connect Customers who put Bt speed performance tests in posts for reference. So CST have information regarding each individual connect Customer just in case there is other issues with their connections
