Annoying problems
Ok so i really need some help here, recently got sky broadband, its been past the first 10days and so far...i think the service is absolutely terrible. At first everything seemed ok, i was getting full speeds for the max service i got, but then after about 2hours it all went down hill.
Just a note, i was with uk-online previously and had tested with them, speeds of upto 24mb/s on my line fine, i had an 8mb service which ran perfect for around 2 years and a router which was flawless.
Now back to sky...so far it fails to connect at anywhere near the maximum 16mb/s which is pretty ridiculous considering the previous tests. The line has find a nice completely unstable point around 5019/606 where it can stay connected but i cant use it for more than 2-3minutes before the speeds drop through the floor to completely unusable. I have tried replacing everything, even thinking of extracting the login details to see if it works at all with my other router.
so to summerise i guess it goes like this:
1. service consistently drops through the floor speed wise, to barely 1-2kb/s
2. connected far below the 16mb/s even though the line has previously worked perfect at 24mb/s
3. router at fault maybe? (dg934g)
4. help, this service is really starting to annoy me...

Re: Annoying problems
If you're only just connected then you're probably in DLM.
If DLM is managing your connection down then that suggests a line/connection problem (that's probable not definite).
Post your router stats plus a brief description of how your router is conected e.g. into master, via an extension etc.
