      Backup Router

      Having just joined sky broadband on a DG934 (which works fine) would like to have a standby router, just in case. Having tried setting up a DG834 using the normal mehtod with no luck. Do sky use the mac address of the router to i.d. my connection. Any ideas much appreciated.

      You will need to extract the Adsl Username/password from your sky
      router first, have a look here http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/extra...-safe-way.html.

      Once you have done that you just setup up the DG834 like any other
      UK adsl service.

      Don't get confused with the user/pass you got from Sky thats only
      for the email service on sky.com.
