Am I Capped
Hi Folks
been on connect since December & until now I have been getting on utorrent speeds over 700k downloading, from last Friday I have been getting really slow speeds maximum of 60k downloading?? I have reconfigured utorrent, changed & allowed the new port to be forwarded I have rebooted the router on multiple occasions, reconnected & disconnected about a dozen times I have an extremely long list of IP addresses that I have been on, I have managed at the weekend to get the speed back up to full on a couple of occasions but haven't been able to since sunday & as this has taken approx an hour each time I don't have time to do this reguarly, I called support & spoke to the Philippine's (language barrier too much I gave up!!) but no improvement I will post my router stsats any help or guidance offered appreciated

Hi as Connect is a rebranded BT package it does suffer from speed throttling. That could be a reason for this. To check have you forwarded a port within your router?

thanks for the response, yes i have forwarded it when I run the utorrent checker it tells me port is open & accepting connections

have you opened a port in both the router and the computers firewall? Furthermore are the torrents you are downloading highly seeded

Using my own netgear dg834 yep the firewall rules are set for inbound & outbound to allow always & also set up in the services , torrents are quiet heavily seeded use a private tracker only for these

yep turned on as well been on since I put utorrent on the PC back in December

Yes your capped.
Sky connect has a 40Gb usage limit per month
but it actually goes on 1.3Gb per day.
To return to normal you must go 1 week without exceeding 1.3Gb per day as in the fair usage policy.
had same thing took a week to get the answer then a week to fix the problem
