Sky & LLU
I'm currently with Vispa using a BT managed pipe connection. I have been getting regular connection speeds of between 5500Kbps and 6000Kbps. 2 weekends ago my connection went crazy for a whole day, dropping out, router rebooting etc. The next day, when it had settled down, my connection speed had dropped to about 4000Kbps, and has stayed there ever since.
I contacted Vispa who advised me the exchange was probably adding "more customers" and as a results my new throughput speed was lower due to more users, and I would just have to put up with it!
My question is:
Would I get better speed than this by switching to Sky as it is LLU at my exchange, or would I still be subject to "congestion" at the exchange. I'm not happy with Vispa, as in addition to this problem, Hotmail accounts repeatedly reject my emails as spam. This affects all Vispa users, but they don't do anything about it....
thanks for any advice...

Re: Sky & LLU
sky does not at the moment suffer from any contention issues (this could always change, but been fine upto now)
have a read of the email forum on this site, just so you know what may happen (sky email is run by a third party, one of the drawbacks is all mail sent has *sent by firstname.lastname@example.org* or something along those lines)
good this is that you can get around this by using another SMTP server (skyuser does have this )
