Still waiting to get active
My parents ordered Sky broadband max and recieved the router and a letter informing them the line would be active on the 18/07/07 but allow upto 3 days after that as things may be busy.
It is now the 24/07/07 and the line is still not active, despite several calls to Sky.
Is this the level of service can expect from Sky and if so we may as well cancel now before we ge tied into a 12 month contract.
Every previous ISP I have used including the notoriously bad NTL was active on the day they quoted.
Does anyone have any tips on how we can persue Sky and get out line active other than phoning every day to be frustrated by the vague answers we are given?
Apologies for making my first post a semi rant

Re: Still waiting to get active
Spoke to Sky last night and they said our order had been flagged
"returned to frames as engineer did not complete job"
Anyone have any idea what this means?

Re: Still waiting to get active
Wooot active at last
No thanks to the numpty at tech support though who tried to talk me through checking my wireless connection when I had already told him several times I could connect to the router ok but there is no internet light on!
Anyway all up and running now, lets see how it compares to my old VM 20M cable connection
