Ports
I have been having connection issues with my BB lately, I (and Sky Tier3) am convinced there is an issue with my BT Line, and now BT Wholesale are looking at the issue.
My problem was a huge decrease in speed.
When the issue started I noticed I could hear peoples voices in the background when on the phone (crossed wire), again making me think a line issue. However since around the same time this started, I am also unable to connect to P2P programs.
I use Emule and Torrents to share Artwork I have done on my PC to friends and such, but now i CANNOT connect to either program, I have done all the usual tests on their forums, but nobody can figure whats going on with my line?
I cannot connect to either program, but I can surf the net at 1.5mb speed, my upload is around 320, so what could be going on? could it be Sky have permanently blocked ports? could al ine error cause this to happen? I have forwarded the correct ports to the router, formatted the PC, tried differant OS, and program versions, nothing working, any way around it?

Re: Ports
Sky don't block ANY ports, so its gonna be possibly be an issue with port forwarding on the router...

Re: Ports
if its a crosswires issue then BT would have to fix this before the BB will work properly.....its an **** tbh but it does happen from time to time, ur just unlucky from the sounds of it
