Stuck on ADSL1
Hi all,
Sorry if this has been asked before, but is there a way to get moved on to ADSL-2? I raised this with Sky a while ago, to no avail.
I am on Max, and I have pretty good vital statistics:
Downstream attenuation 28.0dB
Upstream attenuation 19.5dB
SNRs of 13.4dB and 13.0dB respectively.
But I seem to be stuck on G.DMT mode, which I think I'm right in saying means ADSL1. I'm sure with my stats I should be able to get something in the double figures, rather than 8096/416. I asked Sky about this a while ago, but my ticket seemed to get stuck somewhere, and I got bogged down in work, etc.
Is there a quick and relatively painless way to see about being moved to ADSL2? - My exchange is Durham (NEDU), which is certainly unbundled.
Cheers,
Mark

Re: Stuck on ADSL1
if ur on max then ur upstream should be on 768 so you're either on mid or they've set the line wrong.....

Re: Stuck on ADSL1
The Account page says I'm on Max. I used to get 768, until I raised the issue about being on ADSL1, then they put us down to 416!
Any further ideas,
Mark
