Sky q hub causing connection issues

When i connect directly to the Hubs WiFi signal, several apps on my mobile (S9+) just will not connect to the internet (was the same with my S8+ but only for the last month and a half), but if i switch to one of the wifi extender points located around the house, then it works perfectly with all my apps, I have turned off the Sky Broadband shield completely as having it on 18 worked for about 10 minutes, then blocked the apps again
It is really annoying now as 1 of the apps affected is the Galaxy Apps store, so no updates until i switch to the extender, although they dont always have a signal.
      Any ideas

Sky broadband shield does not block the Samsung app store on the 18 setting.

For both your devices on Android, do a forget network.
      1. Open your Android's Settings app.
      2. Tap Wi-Fi.
      3. Tap the network you want to forget.
      4. Tap Forget.

Then power down both Android devices.
Reboot the Sky Q hub router.
Once the Sky Q hub is back up then power up your Android devices and connect both the Android devices to your rSky Q hub outer wifi once again.
Once those devices are connected to wifi (do not browse the web or try any apps), from notifications pull down, turn wifi on and off.
      Restart both Android devices.

      This should reset them both.
