xbox playing up
Hello I used to be on BT but finished my contract and now I'm with sky.
with the release of the new call of duty game I am unable to kill anyone on multiplayer, it seems like I am 1-2sec behind everyone else.
I'm going to be altering my mtu from the default 1500 (Xbox reports mtu as 1480) to around 1430 ish.
Can anyone tell me is my connection is running fine or not, I posted my stats below and thanks in advance...

go on a 3g connection teathered to your phone you will kill plenty of people then
call of duty is setup for the laggiest players

the MTU is made up of the packet and header.
Packet is typically 1472 + 28 for the header = 1500
if your xbox says MTU is 1480 this is either 1480 + 28 = 1508 which will cause packet loss because the MTU cant be bigger than 1500.
I would suggest trying the steps here :

Many people complaining of the same issue, some people are maxing out their connection with "downloads" before going online to try and gain advantage, due to the reason shonk mentioned, play titanfall2 instead lol less affected by the whole connection is king in cod now. Not a Sky issue, a COD issue, I'm back playing blop3 until they fix it.....still playing COD remastered though lol
Also having an open NAT can help.
