Seting DNS via Sky Q Hub config file
I noticed the other day that in the config file created when I back up my settings from the Sky Q router there is a entry of
<DNSServers>,</DNSServers>
anyone had any luck editing this to
<DNSServers>8.8.8.8,8.8.4.4</DNSServers>
for example
and being able to override the SKY DNS ?------------------------------------------------------------------------

Re: Seting DNS via Sky Q Hub config file
Have you tried it? This edit was possible on the early Sky routers, but firmware updates stopped it working.

Re: Seting DNS via Sky Q Hub config file
I did but didn't seem to work sounds like the firmware may be ignoring it then
