Can/could I get Fibre Pro information from Exchange ?

Hi guys, apologies if this is the wrong place to post but I am wondering if I can get Sky Fibre Pro Unlimited,I don't really want to phone Sky (cos it never seems to be straight forward)..so would I be able to get the information I needed from the Telephone Exchange Checker ?....if so,could someone please advise as to what information I should actually be looking for on the Telephone Exchange page....if it is not possible to find out without phoning Sky then I guess I'll just have to bite the bullet ...and phone them (I currently have Sky Fibre up to 38mb).....many thanks in advance.

Go to http://www.dslchecker.bt.com and click on "Address checker" then hit the "Proceed" button.

On the resulting page, enter your building number and postcode then click on "Submit".

The resulting table will list all the broadband products available to your address.

Look at the results for VDSL. You will want to see numbers higher than 38Mbps in the Downstream Line Rate for both Range A and Range B. This will give you a rough idea of what to expect on the Pro ("up to 76Mbps") product from any provider (including Sky).

Re: Can/could I get Fibre Pro information from Exchange ?

Hi,thanks for the info/link.....VDSL Downstream line rate A (clean) High 43.4
......VDSL Downstream line rate A Low 32.4

.....VDSL Downstream line rate B(impacted) High 35
......VDSL Downstream line rate B Low 20

So I am guessing from these readings that Fibre Pro is a no go....would I be right ? and that word "impacted" probably means that's a problem too.would I be correct ? Cheers again

Yes looks like you wouldn't get very much extra download speed unfortunately, even on a clean line.
