      Draytek Vigor 130 & Apple Airport Extreme

      I wonder if anybody can help me...

      I previously had the Draytek Vigor 120 with the Apple Airport Extreme on Sky Broadband, I have upgraded to Fibre and needed to upgrade the modem as the Vigor 120 isn't compatible with Fibre and went for the Draytek Vigor 130.

      I have tried almost everything to get this working, the old setup was fine and was hoping to be able to replace the modem, the main things I have tried;

      Including the DHCP 60&61 information in the modem.
      Changing the MAC address in the modem to the Sky Hub MAC address
      Completely reset both the router and modem and started again from the start with the basic config

      All to no avail - Draytek not really helping.

      Has anybody got this configuration working???

      Thanks in advance.

      OK, some time since I had my 2860 but I'll try and remember, the modem bit is roughly the same.

      General set up should be DSL mode set to VDSL, set the VLAN tag to 101 and that should be it. Disable teh PPPoE client. The router handles all that.

      The Airport setup will be different, it's just DHCP and you already have your username@skydsl for option61. MAC and option60 not critical.

      Doesn't really answer your question I know. But you realise you could just use an HG612 modem and then set the airport extreme to connect via that using this guide

      http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/sky-b...bre-guide.html

      Much cheaper as the HG612 are on ebay for about 20 and then you have all the available monitoring software such as DSLStats for you line
      If you only just bought the Draytek you could send it back

      I've been running an Airport Extreme to HG612 for a year trouble free in fact my last resync was 145 days ago
