      No Service Since Midnight (23rd Nov)

      Morning,

      Just wondering if anyone around the RH14 9 area (Billingshurst, West Sussex) lost their Sky FTTC service at around midnight and is still down?

      I lost mine around 00:15hrs and it was still down when I left for work an hour ago. I usually use a Cisco 887VA router and this was showing as in-sync with the exchange but I wasn't getting an IP from Sky. Rebooted all equipment but no joy. Dug out the Sky SR102 router and plugged that it but it had an orange light for the Internet instead of a white light. Checked the web interface and it showed the same as the Cisco box - in sync but no IP address received.

      If it's still down when I get home tonight I'll call Sky.

      Edit:

      Sky status page said no issues when I checked this morning, however they have now updated it with the following:

      Sky Fibre Broadband problems in BILLINGSHURST, FITTLEWORTH, BURY, GRAFFHAM, KIRDFORD, PULBOROUGH, PETWORTH, ASHINGTON, STORRINGTON, WISBOROUGH GREEN and WEST CHILTINGTON You might not be able to get online at the moment due to a problem in your local area. Our technical teams are working hard to fix the problem and we will provide an update on progress soon. We're sorry for any inconvenience caused.

      Good to know it's not my equipment.

      They're sometimes a bit slow to get the status page updated.
