      3rd Party Router Settings

      Hi all

I've just upgraded to Fibre Pro & I'm not impressed with the router supplied.

I've purchased a Netgear AC1600 and I'm having problems with setting it up.

I have my user name & password (Obtained through Wireshark) However, its the other settings which are preventing it from working.

Does anyone have, or can anyone point me in the direction of the settings required to ensure this router will work?

      FYI.

Once I've entered the info I do have, the router displays via the front indicator lights that it detects the ADSL feed & that it is also connected to the internet. However, it does not display a connection when I'm logged into the router as Admin.

      Thanks in advance

That usually means the router is not authenticating with Sky. Inability to use Option 61 appears to be the stumbling block for most routers.
