First time I've lost sync speed
Logged into my router today and for the first time since having Fibre installed 3 years ago, I noticed my router stats changed from 39999kbps downstream / 9999kbps upstream to
DownStream Connection Speed 38278 kbps
UpStream Connection Speed 9542 kbps
Does anyone know what would cause this change? I can't say I've noticed any connection drops and on looking at the statistics page I see this
Should I try rebooting the BT openreach modem?
EDIT
OK I've just rebooted my router (not the BTO modem) and the sync speeds have changed slightly
DownStream Connection Speed 39956 kbps
UpStream Connection Speed 9989 kbps
Why is it changing like this? Im worried the figures will eventually go so low that I'll start noticing the difference in speed.Last edited by dankargo; 20-04-15 at 09:35 PM. Reason: Added info

Re: First time I've lost sync speed
Same here (exact same figures), I noticed it about a month ago and I've just been keeping an eye on it to see if it dropped lower but it seems to be holding. The odd thing was that when I log into the BTO HG612 via telnet to get connection stats it reports the old higher values.
