      Sky Hub or Apple Airport?

      Hello,

I use an Apple Airport Time Capsule (aka Extreme) within my home network and until recently had a white Sky Hub managing the broadband connection with the Apple device being in bridge mode. The Sky Hub had wireless disabled and the Airport acted as the wireless network.

Recently I upgraded to Sky Fibre and was given a new black Sky Hub. I simply swapped the white hub for the black one. However, I am wondering wondering which is the best wireless device and wondered if you could offer advice. I am also looking to extend the signal strength in parts of my house and notice that the Sky Wireless Boosters are much cheaper than the Apple Airport Express!

      Thanks you

From what I've read, Sky Hub SR102 wifi is not signficantly any better than it is in Sky Hub SR101. So I'd be inclined to stick with the separate wireless access point solution as provided by the AEBS.

I was given a Sky wifi booster. It was rubbish! It went back in the box within a few hours...

I just wish try would update the firmware to all modem only mode. My wifi speed is awful and I live in a new build house so no issues with thick walls!!
