    New fibre line stats

      New fibre line stats

      Hello all, newbie here ,I,ve just had sky fibre unlimited installed yesterday ,and it's working great,however ,do these line stats look strange ?

      Nothing strange about them. The very high noise margin indicates you would get the full 80/20 Mb if you so wished. It also looks like you have had the router running on ADSL for 3 and a half days before you swapped to Fibre. A reboot of the router should balance things out as far as uptimes are concerned.

      Thanks for the replies,I was just a little concerned about the high noise margin,obviously I'm used to it being around the 6/12 mark on my old line ,which had a habit of dropping down to 0 on evenings and resynching the line,my fibre line is rock steady so far

      Looks like there was a problem with the second part of your line from the cabinet to the exchange, which is now redundant as far as broadband is concerned.

      Yes ,i thought that ,seeing as the fault started as soon as open reach started laying the fibre !! i have been checking daily for months to see when i could actually order !!
      Anyway i have it now and i,m loving it ,thanks for the replies everybody
