Ok. Did you play them in the highest resolution possible? Not all were available in 1080p, most were 720p.

I actually plugged a HDMI cable into my Laptop and watched them and a few other videos last night that way, hence I was able to watch at 1080p.

I did start watching the video below, but soon realised that it was the same short sequence repeated for 3 hours (what a waste!)

The same person has done the same thing with a variety of other videos. This next one is a little better, but only to 720p.

P.S. If you ever wonder where I'd like to be, the videos on my previous post are your answer.

Yep I gathered that LOL. I did play them in as high a resolution as I could on my laptop. They will play in 1080 but they end up being a bit jerky. Highest I could play them in was 480 if I wanted smooth playback. But none of those stopped playing neither did any of the others that I tried afterwards on You Tube. So it's either intermittent or a time thing or just my kit although others are still reporting the same issues.

      Re: Anyone having Youtube issues?

      Thanks again.

Jerky movements would be expected if the Laptop's display adapter wasn't suitable for 1080p stuff. My old laptop was like that.

We were more interested in getting things to have buffer problems when streaming the content, so at least this wasn't the case.

Yes they could be time issues. It might be worth trying those videos, or something similar, later when YouTube is busier.

I think that the peak times will be between 4pm and 9pm on weekdays.
