    SNR drops and doesn't always go back up

      SNR drops and doesn't always go back up

      Any ideas, why my SNR drops and doesn't always go back up? This also happened when I had ADSL...

      If the noise margin drops this means there is noise (interference) on the line. It will vary slightly during the day for various reasons, but should be at its best in the early hours of the morning when the lines are quiet. If it drops by much and stays down this could mean there is a fault on the line which may not be bad enough to cause serious problems.
