      Sure Sky does need to produce a faster router in the long term. If they wish to sell any FTTP products, then the SR102 just could not handle anything above 100mb as that is the limit of the LAN ports.

      I think that that report has got the wrong end of the stick though. The WiFi Booster is something which Sky has produced that can extend the signal range. From my experience with different WiFi n routers, the signal range for WiFi n routers is quite similar. The Booster extends the range to places where NO WiFi router on it's own can reach.

      I have just changed back to the openreach modem and sr101, I was having bad ping spikes and my ping on world of tanks was 60-100ms as soon as I switched back it was back to 20-50ms
