      Re: Just got the SR102

I am not sure about the pattern with the SR102 on the FTTC connection, but with the BTO Modem it is recommended to leave the Modem on 24.7 as even powering it off once can mess up the connection speeds for up to 10 days.

DLM on the Sky ADSL2+ connection is not quite as sensitive.

Since BTO manage this DLM software on the FTTC connections, there is very little information in the public domain about how it works and how the BTO Modem communicates with the network in order to maintain the connection speed. Should they change it, then we are blind. Again this is great for BTO but rubbish for those who effectively pay for the service.

Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro: Connected at 80,000 kbps / 20,000 kbps
Previous ADSL2+ Speed 19999 kbps 1153 kbps, Line Attenuation 17.5 db 6.9 db, Noise Margin 7.5 dB 8.7 dB
      Speedtest: 17.15MB/s 0.97Mb/s Ping 31 ms

Got some new stats today, the line must have rebooted or something. The speed has actually increased slightly!
