Have you had a power cut or powered off the Modem?

P.S. Could you update your profile please

Sorry they were my old LLU settings. There's been no power cuts that I know of. I hadn't restarted the modem, but I have restarted it tonight to see if it would help. It didn't help; it slowed it slightly further. My stats are now 24244/7940.

The reason why I asked if you had had an issue with power or switched off the BTO Modem is because it is a known issue. Basically the speed will drop and it takes around 10 days for BTO's DLM software to bring it back to the original speed.

OK I'll give it a few weeks; see what happens. I still get 20ish mb/s which is good enough for watching iplayer and so on.

Re: Internet speed half what it was

Well it is 12 days later, and as far as I'm aware there have been no line drops. My connection seems to be very stable. It is still showing 22mb on speedtest and 24mb in the router settings. Should I restart the modem or what?

Internet speed half what it was

What was the estimate of your speed from sky when you ordered it?

34mb, however I was syncing at the full 40,000 until 12 days ago.

Re: Internet speed half what it was

If you power cycle the router it should recheck the connection speed. Could you do this and confirm what it is showing please?

Personally I am thinking that a call may be required to Sky as your current speed is below the estimate you were provided.
