    Restarting the router (Sky HUB)

This is a discussion on Restarting the router (Sky HUB) within the Sky Broadband (Fibre) Help forums, part of the Sky Broadband help and support category; Will that force a resync? Will it alert the DLM ? I'm not talking about rebooting the BT modem. Thankies....

No you can reboot the sky hub/router as much as you like. The modem is the only thing that can affect DLM

Re: Restarting the router (Sky HUB)

Being able to reboot the router without effecting the modem is one of the main advantages of having a two device setup. Sky will no doubt soon release a single device solution, which will make this impossible. I think this will be a necessity if self install becomes available.
