      Once you have unzipped the original firmware (remember version must not have boot in filename) if you are running a webserver on your PC move the file to your htdocs folder or upload it to your NAS server if you have one. If neither you can upload it to your website on the web (if router is allowing web access) or temporarily install a webserver on your PC I often use Abyss with windows Aprelium - Abyss Web Server. I assume you have been successful getting a CLI (command line interface) using telnet or SSH. Telnet may not give you root access so after accessing the box you may need to use "su" (super user) if write operations fail.

      Code:
      cd /tmp
      wget http://www.example.net/tplink.bin
      mtd -r write /tmp/tplink.bin firmware
      Although not specific to your router the information here: http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/generic.uninstall may be of help.
