Turn the BTO modem and router off when on holiday?

      Hey guys,

Is it best to switch off the router and BTO modem when going on holiday? Will it cause any issues with the DLM if I was to switch both of these off for a week while im away? I currently get a solid 39999kbps down and 10000kbps up so wouldn't want this speed to be reduced in any way.

It should be fine, if you keep causing resyncs in a short period that will affect DLM but the modem being off for a few days shouldn't cause a problem for it.

As Dragon2611 says, it shouldn't cause any problems both being switched off for an extended away break. If you feel that your line is dodgy in anyway you could switch the router off anytime and as often as you want and leave the modem connected.
It's up to you but as already said switching both off for an extended break should not cause any problem .
