    Sky Fibre VDSL Faceplate question

This is a discussion on Sky Fibre VDSL Faceplate question within the Sky Broadband (Fibre) Help forums, part of the Sky Broadband help and support category; I'd happily offer the engineer breakfast made for them if they agree to move the socket!...

Re: Sky Fibre VDSL Faceplate question

I'll have to think of something as it needs moving to the office ideally. 12 months of hassle, 7 openreach engineers have been out to fix the low Sky speeds and connectivity issues during this period. They even moved me to a new card in the exchange and still no fix so Fibre is my last option - this could not come fast enough in my area. Every engineer visit the Ikea drawers have to come out from the wardrobe.

My builder (apartments built in 2006) thought it was a good idea to install the master socket in the master bedroom on the wall opposite to where the aerial socket is. It took me 3 years to find where the master socket actually was. Fingers crossed Fibre does the trick.

You could forgive builders of yesteryear, but there should have been no excuse in 2006. I hope you get it sorted.
