      DMZ /Port Forwarding or UPnP

When i was on ADSL i always used to put my PS3 in the DMZ of my Sagem router with UPnP disabled on both devices (so there was no conflict), my connection to games, hosting party's and connecting to other lobbies/friends was flawless

the reason i ask is, i tried using the HUB on ADSL and i would struggle to connect to friends online so i never used it, now that i have no choice but to use the HUB on fibre which mode is better with the new HUB's ????

Re: DMZ /Port Forwarding or UPnP

Personally I would not want to use the DMZ as I have other things which require port forwarding. If I were to use the DMZ then they would not work.

I also use UPnP a lot as DLNA uses it too.

Could I suggest that you set up the Sky Hub SR101 to use UPnP for your PS3 and see how things go. I did ask about using game consoles on the Sky Hub and it was confirmed that it worked fine with multiple consoles (Xbox 360 and PS3) at the same time. The response didn't specify how well they all worked only that they worked at the same time.
