      Re: Goodbye ADSL

When I ordered SFUP I was able to get a new Sky Hub SR101 for free, but I had to pay the 50 connection fee.

After some haggling I managed to get the fee waived, but it wasn't easy.

      Re: Goodbye ADSL

It was change from SFU to SFUP last night, so my '10 days' training has restarted. Now I know what I can do to get the speedtests through (with technical) I can do some tests now without any major problems.

      Today...

I know it isn't perfect, so I shall keep working on this.

The beta firmware for the 7800N was never officially released but is available via their forum.

Billion now have two new 7800 series routers, the 7800DXL which is a "Triple-WAN Dual-Band Wireless-N 600Mbps 3G/4G LTE ADSL2+/Fibre Broadband router" and the 7800VDOX which is a "Triple-WAN Dual-Band Wireless-N 600Mbps 3G/4G LTE VoIP VPN ADSL2+/Fibre Broadband Router". Both will work with Sky out of the box.

      Re: Goodbye ADSL

Only 73mb? According to their site it supports up to 900mb/s over WiFi. That is to say 450mb/s on the 2.4MHz band and 450mb/s on the 5GHz band at the same time.

...unless you mean Internet speeds of course.

Since I have achieved 80mb/s over WiFi with the Sky Hub with my laptop, I should be able to achieve something like this over the Internet in due course.

Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro: Connected at 80,000 kbps / 20,000 kbps
Previous ADSL2+ Speed 19999 kbps 1153 kbps, Line Attenuation 17.5 db 6.9 db, Noise Margin 7.5 dB 8.7 dB
