Will this Ethernet switch fit my needs?

      Happy Easter everyone!

I wondered if someone would care to help me out. I'm a Sky Fibre Unlimited customer and currently receive 38mbps download and 10mbps upload speed. Currently in a bedroom I have a PC connected to the internet through a 200mbps powerline adaptor and can receive the full 38 meg with no issues.

Last Weekend I bought a Samsung Smart TV mainly so I could access all the UK catch up services through one platform. At the moment I cannot use it as the powerline adaptor only has one ethernet port and that is connected to the PC. A temporary solution would be to keep swapping the cables around but I'm sure you'll agree that this isn't an ideal long term.

I could buy another homeplug for the room but buying the seperate adaptor would cost around 25. I could also buy the Samsung Wireless dongle but that's even more expensive, priced at 39.99 and would most likely give a lower speed as opposed to using a wired connection. My third and final solution which I think would be the most sensible is an Ethernet switch and connecting that to the homeplug with the TV & PC connected to the switch.

I'm not after anything fancy, just something that will split the internet connection although preferably something compact that would not take up too much space. I was looking around Amazon last night and found this one. Price wise it was just what I was looking for and it looks quite portable which is a plus. The only concern I have is that it's only 100-Mbit. Would I potentially lose speed if I was to go with this one?

this would be fine, personally i would opt for a gig switch (and did) just to future proof myself. i bought this one
