      Downloading the Internet

      When Sky launched their first Fibre product last year, there were several members who said, perhaps in jest, that they could finally download the Internet.

      So just how well have they all done?

      Do you mean as in how sky would rate it, like they do for customers on the 'lite' package, or purely downloads?

      For me:
      Former = no idea.
      Latter = i can vote.

      Re: Downloading the Internet

      I guess that although I put this in the Fibre section, there is no harm is others voting, but it would skew the results a little.

      Oops! I already voted and am still on ADSL

      Downloading the Internet

      I selected 500MB-2GB as although I don't do a lot of torrenting now I do watch a quite bit of Netflix HD which adds up over a month

      Whoops! It should have been 20GB, 40GB, etc. I've corrected it all.

      Re: Downloading the Internet

      Pre-fibre, I managed to get some stats from Sky about my monthly usage covering a 12 month period.

      It totalled 302.27GB giving an average 27.33GB per month - but I have reservations about that accuracy because one month was reported as 0.00GB usage! Otherwise, the lowest month was reported as 4.53GB and the highest was 86.81GB.

      I reckon our usage pattern has settled down to more or less the same as it ever was, but now it all happens soomchfstr...

      Re: Downloading the Internet

      I already downloaded the internet when I was with VM. These days I just get the odd update.

      I seem to average about 300gig each month.
