Does the Sky router provide this info? I would say I download >1TB taking into account netflix and Sky on demand, but couldn't be sure.

      Re: Downloading the Internet

Good question, but sadly it doesn't.

Some people have an idea as to their usage, whilst others do not. This poll is not scientific so a guesstimate is as good as anything else.

      Re: Downloading the Internet

As I'm using a Mac, I don't need to download the whole internet (aka Windows Updates) anyway

In all honesty, I have absolutely no idea how much i download every month.

Nice try. I've heard that some of the PS3 updates are truly massive in comparison, not that I have a PS3.

      Game updates can be large.
My battlefield 3 data currently stands at 3725 MB but that does represent 3 or 4 separate patches.

System updates are tiny though - just a few 100kb's.

I don't have a meter so have no real idea, I have downloaded a lot in the past but these days hardly anything much and most of that is BBC iPlayer content. I'd be surprised if it was much more than 20 GB per month.

Seriously? I've downloaded a few GB's worth of game updtates/patches in my time, but system updates are a few MB, if that. I do know that my Steam games folder on my PC totals nearly 50 GB!

      Yes ps3.

I just had a look & it's version 1.09, so early patches released before i bought it must have been fairly small.
      The last one was 1935MB.

My Steam Library is using 35GB on my 2nd drive + 20GB on my SSD and there's only 9 games installed currently.

The Starcraft 2 directory is 14GB

As these are the size on the disk most of the game downloads are compressed so the actual download will be smaller.
