    So what exactly do I need to use any PPPoE/3rd party router

    This is a discussion on So what exactly do I need to use any PPPoE/3rd party router within the Sky Broadband (Fibre) Help forums, part of the Sky Broadband help and support category; Is it basically the ability to specify DHCP Options 60 and 61? My ASA5505 can do this.............

      So what exactly do I need to use any PPPoE/3rd party router

      Is it basically the ability to specify DHCP Options 60 and 61?

      My ASA5505 can do this..........

      Just option 61 isn't it (for now)?

      Have seen a config on a ASA5505 with Option 60 and 61 set, so I should be golden.

      That's twice in two days I need to learn to read.

      Cisco's own website says "Unsupported DHCP Options" - 61 is on the list.

      /sigh.
