Which is your prerogative of course, but as a very average user I doubt what you dislike about BT's backhaul would be an issue when it comes to our little families broadband requirements.

This is exactly what they plan to do, i've spoken to the exec department and they said until the issue is fixed, they will then agree a compensation package rather than a bit here and there.

What are the issues with using BT Wholesale as a backhaul?

Maybe things have changed but my experience of BT is that there is a lot less capacity per user so at peak times things slow down a lot. BT have recently stated that they wont slow you down at peak times but that just means that they wont actively slow you down. If capacity is not up to the job then your throughput speed will suffer. Sky dont slow you down either (unless on adsl connect) but on a small number of exchanges there has been a capacity issue which they are sorting out. Would BT be so quick to do the same? I know Sky make it a priority to have ample capacity in their network but I dont know about BT. Better the devil you know and all that.
