      Sky Fibre Pro

Does anybody think sky will either reduce the price of fibre pro or make the regular fibre unlimited up to 76 meg?

Sky are slowly becoming less competitive with their fibre offer.

      Re: Sky Fibre Pro

I recently did a survey on my opinion of Sky Fibre. I did mention the pricing structure; we'll see what happens. While I like the product with its truly unlimited downloads, it doesn't offer anything different aside from that to other providers. Maybe more added bits to the package such as free sky go extra for fibre pro customers would suffice, along with reducing pricing to 15 for 40Mb and 20-25 for fibre pro.

I do agree. With most other providers now supplying FTTC at up to 80mb when available, Sky's products look a little expensive now.

We she coming up to the 1st Anniversary of when SFU was thrilled publicly and later launched. It will be nice to see Sky review their pricing and products.

      Re: Sky Fibre Pro

Obviously price is important but I'd rather pay 30/month for Pro and get decent service rather than having Sky cut the price and the service go downhill.

      Re: Sky Fibre Pro

Fair comment and Sky are investing heavily in their network.

im happy paying 30 for the pro as long as it remains unlimited and no traffic shaping.

I'd like to see Sky re-vamp the Fibre product and just have an 80/20 product (up to 76Mbps/19Mbps) for 20 a month to compete with PlusNet's new unlimited product.

I'll be watching carefully to see what happens in the FTTC market over the next 3 months!

      Re: Sky Fibre Pro

only a month short of having fibre for a year (17th Feb 2012 was my install date).

would be good for Sky to drop their prices. I agree that 15 for 40/10 and 20-25 for 80/20 is very reasonable and would give BT and others a run for their money.

Maybe there will be a fibre product revamp announcement as part of BSkyB half year results on 31 Jan? We can live in hope!
