      Thank you both of you, that firmware version has known faults. There is now a later version which Sky are rolling out.

      You may wish to see if you can get yours updated to either the genuine or a hacked version by reading the thread in the link below:

      I am having the same issue. My Sky Fibre Unlimited was installed and activated yesterday and my connection is disconnecting every hour. Approximately half an hour after the disconnect it reconnects again automatically and stays stable for another hour....and so on. Rebooting the router instantly fixes this as my DHCP lease is renewed on reboot. My log is as follows(starting at around 7 this morning).

      I do not know if this issue is related, but you have a different router. Of course it is entirely possible that the issues are linked.

      Just in case, the current firmware for the Sky Hub is 1.15i.2202.R.

      Should I use the custom firmware? Is it OK and not against any TOS? If so, do you know where I could get the official from Sky?

      There are links to both versions in the thread I have mentioned in Post #11.

      Technically it would be against Sky's T&Cs to use custom firmware. The only major issue you might get would be if you called Sky for help and the person on the phone picked up that you were using a custom firmware. This would be easily resolved by simply installing the original version or by using the tool to recover the firmware.

      OK I installed the official updated firmware and I'm currently on 1h 17m without being disconnected

      Fingers crossed it might have cured it. Unless things change I won't post again so no news is good news!

      Phew! It worked! Well done for trying and thank you for the positive feedback. It was the only thing, other than changing the router, that I could think of.

      Can you please give it a few days and update this thread to see whether things do remain stable?

      Upgraded friemware from 6.14.1a4N_UNI to 6.14.2a4N_UNI and the connection is up after the hour mark, so fingers crossed it is sorted. Will update on the situation in the next few days.
