      Is the static ip address you gave it well away from the ones the router dishes out?

      EG, my ps3 was 192.168.0.3 but i changed it to 192.168.0.53 & put that address in as the default dmz server.

      Yes mate, only got 5 devices on my network so I gave the wiiu a static adores of .200.. Still no joy, just stays on moderate ? .. Tryed open all ports everything possible nothing seems to work ? What gives.. ��

      Don't think is sky router is very good... Must change it for AirPort Extreme me thinks

      If the ps3 shows nat type 2 in the connection settings list, it's perfect & should relate to an open 'in game' nat type.
      Type 2 just means it's connected to a router, rather than directly to a modem.

      That's the limit of my understanding tbh.
      I don't really know anything about the wiiu.
